TUITION -- Tuition for lessons at the Academy of Dance Arts is an annual fee. Monthly payment arrangements must be desig-nated at registration up to 10 installments. The annual fee is based on the total number of hours of study per week. As the number of hours per week increases, the overall hourly rate decreases. There is a 5% discount for the annual tuition paid in full by September 15th.

Each class is guaranteed to meet a minimum of 36 times during the school year. In most cases, the actual number of class ses-sions and rehearsals over the year is greater. Should any one class meet less than 36 times due to bad weather, etc., make-up classes will be scheduled. The annual rate is based on the total hours of weekly study for all members of a family who are enrolled.

PAYMENTS - Payments are due by the first of each month. A 10% late fee will be assessed for all unpaid balances. There is a $30 fee for returned checks due to NSF.

WITHDRAWALS -- You may withdraw from any or all classes by giving written notice to the office no later than the end of the month. If written notice is not received by the end of the month, you are obligated to pay the next month's tuition payment.

MISSED CLASSES - Any missed class may be made up in a similar level within one month of the missed class. Please check with your child's instructor for his/her recommendations. No refunds or reductions are made for missed classes. Please call the studio at (386) 785-0004 to inform the teacher of an absence.

BEING LATE FOR CLASS: We understand that being late is sometimes unavoidable for all of us. However, a pupil who is more than five minutes late will be asked to observe rather than take class. The final decision is at the discretion of the teacher. This is not a disciplinary measure but is done with the student's best interests in mind. A student who misses the first few exer-cises at the barre runs the risk of injury by not being properly "warmed up."
